Azure DevOps EngineerLocation – Berkeley Heights, NJ (5 days onsite)Duration - 12 Month Contract-to-HirePay Rate - Up to $80/hourOpenings – 2
OverviewWe are seeking experienced DevOps Engineers to join a growing cloud infrastructure team responsible for designing, automating, securing, and supporting enterprise-scale Azure environments. This is an excellent opportunity for a hands-on engineer who enjoys building cloud platforms, developing Infrastructure as Code solutions, and driving automation initiatives within a modern DevOps ecosystem.
The ideal candidate will possess strong Azure expertise, extensive experience with Terraform and CI/CD pipelines, and a passion for cloud operations, security, and automation.
ResponsibilitiesDevelop and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps and GitLabBuild, deploy, and manage Azure infrastructure using Terraform and Infrastructure as Code methodologiesDesign, implement, and support Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD) environmentsAutomate infrastructure provisioning, patching, and operational processesImplement and maintain Zero Trust security principles, identity management, and encryption controlsConfigure and manage Azure monitoring solutions including Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, and Application InsightsBuild operational dashboards and alerting systems to improve visibility and reliabilitySupport Azure IaaS and PaaS services across enterprise environmentsIdentify and remediate security vulnerabilities across infrastructure and applicationsCollaborate closely with engineering, security, and operations teams within an Agile environment
Required Qualifications5+ years of hands-on Azure experienceStrong experience with Azure DevOps and GitLab CI/CD pipelinesHands-on Terraform experience for infrastructure provisioning and automationExperience supporting Azure monitoring and operational dashboardsExpertise with Azure services including:Application GatewayAPI ManagementAzure App ServiceAzure MonitorMicrosoft SentinelAzure StorageAzure Front DoorAzure DevOpsExperience with Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD) - Very Important Strong understanding of Infrastructure as Code conceptsExperience with Azure security best practices and Zero Trust architectureLinux administration experienceExcellent communication and problem-solving skills
Preferred QualificationsExperience with WebLogic and ApacheExperience configuring Microsoft SentinelKnowledge of FedRAMP High, FISMA High, or Zero Trust frameworksAzure certifications such as AZ-104, AZ-204, or AZ-400Bachelor's or master’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field
