A Commercial GC is looking for carpenters. Local work, full benefits (401k,PTO, Healthcare, etc...) About Our Client Commercial GC based in Buffalo. Job Description Construct and install frameworks, partitions, and other structural components. Measure, cut, and assemble materials, including wood, drywall, and metal. Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to ensure accurate construction. Repair and maintain existing structures as needed. Use hand tools, power tools, and other equipment safely and efficiently. Coordinate with the construction team to complete projects on time and within budget. Ensure compliance with safety regulations and building codes. Maintain a clean and organized workspace. The Successful Applicant A successful Commercial Carpenter should have: Experience with commercial carpentry and construction projects. Proficiency in reading blueprints, drawings, and construction plans. Knowledge of building codes and safety regulations. Skill in using hand tools, power tools, and other construction equipment. Strong attention to detail and craftsmanship. Ability to work collaboratively with a team. Problem-solving skills to address construction challenges.
