Job Title: Medical Officer
Reports to: Medical Director
Objective: The job holder will be primarily responsible for providing quality clinical services to our clients.

Experience
Position holder should have at least 1-2 years' experience working as a licensed Medical Officer. Nicu/Icu experience is an added advantage.Role Description
Monitoring and providing appropriate medical and surgical care to patients; Managing of clients for reproductive health both in the inpatient and outpatient; Admitting patients requiring special care followed by investigations and treatment; Examining and talking to patients to diagnose their medical conditions; Coordinating and managing emergency patients in the inpatient and outpatient and ensuring client referral is effective; Maintain effective interpersonal relationships with all staff and patients and ensure clients have a good customer experience at CHIK Hospital; Ensure that patients are kept fully informed of and understand all procedures and treatments to be undertaken. Informed Consent will be obtained from patients in accordance with Hospital policy; Any other duties as assigned.Qualifications
Strong foundation in Medicine, with the ability to diagnose and manage a range of conditions across relevant specialties. Demonstrated skills in Patient Care, including compassionate communication, clinical monitoring, and follow-up management. Experience in Surgery or surgical support, including pre-operative assessment and post-operative care, where applicable. Ability to work effectively with Physicians and multidisciplinary clinical teams to deliver coordinated care. Competence in Training activities, such as mentoring junior clinicians, medical students, or clinical support staff. MBBS Degree from a recognized institution and valid license or eligibility to practice in the Democratic Republic of the Congo. Prior hospital-based experience, ideally in maternal and child health or multi-specialty settings. Strong clinical documentation skills and familiarity with evidence-based guidelines and protocols. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, manage multiple cases, and maintain high standards of ethics and professionalism.Benefits:
