Role Description

The Senior Architect (Projects) is a full-time, on-site role based in Chandigarh, responsible for leading architectural projects from concept through completion. This role involves preparing detailed drawings, and coordinating design intent with internal teams, consultants, and clients. The Senior Architect oversees project timelines and deliverables, manages design documentation, and ensures alignment with building codes, sustainability goals, and client expectations. Day-to-day tasks include guiding junior team members, reviewing and integrating feedback, participating in site visits, and resolving design and coordination issues throughout the project lifecycle. The role requires proactive communication, close collaboration with stakeholders, and consistent attention to design quality and technical rigor.

Qualifications

  • Strong foundation in Architecture and Architectural Design, with demonstrated experience leading medium to large-scale projects.
  • Proficiency in project-level Integration, coordinating design with structural, services, and other consultants to deliver cohesive solutions.
  • Proven Project Management capabilities, including planning, scheduling, resource coordination, and stakeholder communication.
  • Comfort working with relevant design and documentation software; familiarity with Software Development concepts for design workflows or integrations is an advantage.
  • Professional degree in Architecture from an accredited institution; registration or eligibility for registration with appropriate professional bodies is preferred.
  • Experience in master planning, institutional, residential, commercial, or hospitality projects, with a portfolio reflecting design excellence and technical competence.
  • Ability to mentor junior team members, work collaboratively in a studio environment, and manage multiple projects concurrently.
  • Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and communication skills, with attention to detail and commitment to inclusive, sustainable design practices.
