About the RoleTensor Revive is seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Finance & Tax Supervisor to oversee the company's day-to-day financial operations and tax compliance activities.This position will play an important role in managing accounting operations, financial reporting, budgeting, and U.S. federal and state tax compliance. The ideal candidate should be able to work independently, take ownership of financial matters, and have hands-on experience with U.S. tax filings.Location: Buffalo Grove, ILEmployment Type: Full-TimeWork Arrangement: On-siteSalary: $68,000–$75,000 per yearKey ResponsibilitiesOversee day-to-day accounting and financial operations, including AP, AR, general ledger, and bank reconciliationsPrepare financial statements and internal financial reportsMonitor cash flow, expenses, budgets, and financial performanceSupport management with financial analysis, forecasting, and business planningPrepare, coordinate, and/or file U.S. federal, state, and local tax returns and tax filingsEnsure timely compliance with federal, state, and local tax requirementsManage tax records and respond to tax notices and government inquiriesCoordinate with external CPAs, tax advisors, payroll providers, and other financial professionalsAssist with payroll tax, sales/use tax, and other applicable tax complianceSupport audits and year-end financial and tax activitiesIdentify potential accounting and tax risks and recommend solutionsEstablish and improve financial and accounting processes as the company growsPerform other finance and accounting duties as neededQualificationsBachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field3+ years of accounting, finance, and/or tax experienceHands-on U.S. tax filing and tax compliance experience is requiredStrong knowledge of U.S. federal and state tax requirementsExperience with financial reporting, reconciliations, budgeting, and financial analysisStrong Excel and accounting software skillsExcellent attention to detail and organizational skillsAbility to work independently and manage multiple deadlinesStrong communication and problem-solving skillsPreferred QualificationsCPA, EA, or accounting/tax certification is a plusMulti-state tax experience is a plusPayroll tax and sales/use tax experience is preferredExperience in a technology, hardware, manufacturing, or startup environment is a plusMandarin Chinese speaking ability is strongly preferredWork AuthorizationCandidates must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
