We are looking for Senior Data Engineer – GCP with multiple project opportunities.

Job Role: Senior Data Engineer – GCP

Location: Bangalore (Hybrid)

Notice Period: Immediate Joiners / Short Notice Preferred

Interview Mode: As per client requirement

Experience: 5–8 Years

Relevant Experience: Minimum 5 Years in Data Engineering with mandatory DBT experience

Mandatory Skills: Data Engineering + GCP + DBT + SQL + ETL/ELT + Terraform + CI/CD + Data Modelling

REQUIREMENT FOR SENIOR DATA ENGINEER – GCP:

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain robust, scalable, and high-performance data pipelines .
• Build and manage cloud infrastructure using Terraform and DevOps best practices.
• Develop scalable ETL/ELT data solutions using modern data engineering technologies.
• Design secure, observable, and scalable data products aligned with business requirements.
• Work extensively with GCP cloud services and cloud-native data architectures.
• Develop and maintain data transformation workflows using DBT .
• Implement and manage CI/CD pipelines for data engineering and infrastructure deployments.
• Apply strong SQL and data modelling practices to build efficient data solutions.
• Work with large-scale data processing frameworks such as Spark, Beam, or Hive .
• Enable data sharing and integration across multiple domains in a Data Mesh environment.
• Collaborate with product managers and cross-functional teams to deliver data solutions.
• Drive continuous improvement, performance optimization, monitoring, and technical excellence.
• Implement Infrastructure as Code using Terraform and follow DevOps practices.
• Support data governance, cataloging, data quality, and data observability initiatives.

Who Can Apply?

✔️ 5–8 years of experience in Data Engineering .

✔️ Mandatory hands-on experience with DBT .

✔️ Strong experience in GCP services and cloud-native architectures .

✔️ Strong experience in ETL/ELT development and data pipelines .

✔️ Strong hands-on experience with SQL and data modelling .

✔️ Experience with Terraform / Infrastructure as Code .

✔️ Experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices .

✔️ Knowledge of large-scale data processing frameworks such as Spark, Beam, or Hive .

✔️ Experience with modern data architecture and Data Mesh concepts.

✔️ Good understanding of secure, scalable, and observable data products.

✔️ Strong troubleshooting, performance optimization, and problem-solving skills.

✔️ Good collaboration and communication skills.

Nice to Have:

• Experience with Cloud Run .
• Experience with Apache Iceberg / Hudi .
• Knowledge of Avro and Parquet file formats.
• Understanding of data governance, data cataloging, and data observability .
• Exposure to analytics and data visualization tools .
