Data Governance Engineer

We are looking for an Data Governance professional with 7years experience to lead data governance and metadata management initiatives . Key Responsibilities Lead implementation and optimization of Open Metadata platform Define and enforce data governance frameworks, policies, and standards Drive data lineage, data quality, and cataloging initiatives Integrate metadata tools with databases, ETL pipelines, and BI platforms Enable data discovery and governance adoption across teams Collaborate with business and technical stakeholders for data integrity and compliance Required Skills Strong experience in Open Metadata / Data Catalog tools Deep understanding of data governance frameworks and best practices Hands-on expertise in SQL, data modeling, and ETL processes Experience with data lineage, metadata management, and data quality frameworks Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS / Azure / GCP) Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills Good to Have Experience with Collibra, Immuta, Attacama Knowledge of data privacy regulations (GDPR, etc.)
