Role Description The Senior Installation Technician is a full-time, on-site position based in Stillwater, OK. This role is responsible for installing, configuring, and testing CCTV, access control, business phone systems, structured cabling, fiber optics, wireless, and audio/video equipment at commercial and residential locations. Daily tasks include reading and interpreting plans, running and terminating cabling, mounting and connecting hardware, verifying system functionality, and documenting work performed. The technician will interact directly with customers, explain system features, provide basic user guidance, and coordinate with internal teams to ensure projects are completed safely, on schedule, and to quality standards. The role also involves diagnosing installation issues, performing corrective work, and maintaining tools, vehicles, and equipment in good working order.
Qualifications
Strong technical and diagnostic abilities, including Troubleshooting skills for complex installation and system issues.Excellent interpersonal capabilities, including Communication and Customer Service skills to support Customer Satisfaction.Hands-on installation experience with Cabling, including structured cabling, fiber termination, and neat cable management practices.Experience installing and configuring security cameras, access control, wireless networks, and audio/video systems is highly beneficial.Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, wiring diagrams, and manufacturer documentation.Comfort working on ladders, lifts, and in varied indoor and outdoor environments, following safety standards and procedures.Proven ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and complete projects with minimal supervision.High school diploma or equivalent; relevant technical certifications or vocational training in low-voltage, networking, or electronics are a plus. xzbcwsv Valid driver’s license and clean driving record required for travel to customer sites.
