Job Title : Project Draughtsman

Job Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented Project Draughtsman to prepare, modify, and maintain engineering drawings for Pressure Vessels, Heat Exchangers, Reactors, Columns, and other Process Equipment. The candidate will work closely with Design Engineers, Project Engineers, Manufacturing, and Quality teams to ensure accurate fabrication drawings and timely project execution.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare General Arrangement (GA), fabrication, assembly, and detail drawings as per engineering specifications.
• Develop manufacturing drawings for Pressure Vessels, Heat Exchangers, Columns, Reactors, and Process Equipment.
• Prepare Bill of Materials (BOM) from approved drawings.
• Modify drawings based on engineering comments, customer revisions, and site requirements.
• Coordinate with Design, Project, Production, QA/QC, Procurement, and Planning teams for drawing releases.
• Ensure drawings comply with ASME, TEMA, API, customer specifications, and company standards.
• Maintain revision history and drawing documentation.
• Support fabrication by resolving drawing-related technical queries.
• Prepare as-built drawings after project completion.
• Ensure timely release of drawings as per project schedules.
• Maintain document control and engineering records.

Required Skills

• Proficiency in AutoCAD (2D) SolidWorks, or similar CAD software (preferred).
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
• Knowledge of fabrication drawings and welding details.
• Understanding of GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing).

Qualifications
