Buyers of tobacco leaf read the supplier's website carefully before they send a single email. At FCV Tobacco the Content Writer is responsible for making that website accurate: product and grade pages explaining stalk positions, processing forms and colour classes, buyer guides on sampling, inspection and FOB shipping, and country and port pages that change as markets do.

The writing is technical and commercial, not promotional. Every claim is checked with the sales and product team before publication, and the audience is a trade buyer who already knows what a leaf grade is and will notice a mistake. There is no consumer content here.

Salary: PKR 40,000 – 50,000 per month. Negotiable according to experience and skills.

Responsibilities

• Write and update product, grade and processing pages (whole leaf, hand-stemmed, machine-stemmed, threshed strips) from the company's own specifications
• Produce buyer guides covering sampling, pre-shipment inspection, FOB terms, packaging and documentation
• Maintain country and port pages and revise them when shipping routes or buyer requirements change
• Fact-check each draft with the person who owns the information before it goes live
• Keep headings, internal links and page titles clear enough for search engines and AI assistants to quote accurately

Requirements

• Clear, precise English, with the ability to explain technical trade steps in plain sentences
• Care with figures, units and terminology: a wrong tonnage or grade name is a real error
• Willingness to ask the product team questions rather than guess
• Basic search-friendly page structure: headings, titles, descriptions and internal links
• On site in E-11, Islamabad, Pakistan, 1:00 PM – 10:00 PM; working days confirmed at interview

Preferred

• Experience writing B2B, export, logistics or agricultural content
• A portfolio of technical or process-driven articles
• Familiarity with a CMS and with checking drafts against source documents
