Senior Accountant

LHH is partnering with a well-established professional services organization in Palm Beach Gardens to hire a Senior Accountant / Accounting Manager .

This is a 100% onsite opportunity offering a base salary of $85,000–$100,000+ , with flexibility for the right candidate, plus a discretionary bonus.

The ideal candidate will have a strong accounting background within a law firm, CPA firm, public accounting firm, consulting firm, or similar professional services environment . Prior legal industry experience is preferred, even if it is not recent.

Key Responsibilities

• Support day-to-day accounting operations
• Assist with financial reporting, budgeting, and general ledger activity
• Support month-end close and account reconciliations
• Assist with client billing, invoicing, billable hours, WIP, and related accounting processes
• Work closely with partners, leadership, and internal staff
• Maintain accurate financial records in accordance with GAAP
• Support payroll processing as needed
• Assist with process improvements and accounting efficiencies
• Utilize Excel for reporting, analysis, and reconciliations
• Support the Finance Manager and broader accounting team

Qualifications

• 5+ years of accounting and/or finance experience
• Senior Accountant or Accounting Manager-level experience
• Prior experience within a law firm, CPA firm, public accounting firm, consulting firm, or similar professional services environment
• Law firm experience strongly preferred, even if from an earlier role
• Experience with client billing, invoicing, billable hours, WIP, or similar professional services accounting processes
• Strong knowledge of GAAP
• Strong financial reporting experience
• Advanced Excel skills
• Payroll experience preferred
• Aderant Expert or similar legal/professional services accounting software is a plus
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Comfortable working directly with partners and leadership
• Detail-oriented and able to manage multiple priorities and deadlines

Schedule

• 100% onsite in Palm Beach Gardens
• Monday–Friday
• Flexible hours between 8:30 AM–5:30 PM or 9:00 AM–6:00 PM

Compensation

• $85,000–$100,000+ base salary
• Flexibility for highly qualified candidates
