- Job Description – Hardware Asset Manager \n
- Position Summary \n
- The Hardware Asset Manager is responsible for managing the end-to-end lifecycle of IT hardware assets, ensuring accurate asset records, effective inventory management, governance, compliance, and cost optimization. \n
- Key Responsibilities \n

- Own and manage the end-to-end Hardware Asset Management (HAM) process. \n
- Govern the hardware asset lifecycle from procurement and receiving through deployment, transfer, maintenance, refresh, and disposal. \n
- Ensure accurate asset inventory and maintain data quality within the HAM and CMDB platforms. \n
- Manage asset allocation, ownership, stockrooms, warehouses, and inventory controls. \n
- Track asset movement, transfers, returns, and reconciliation activities. \n
- Coordinate with Procurement, Finance, IT Support, Infrastructure, Security, and vendors. \n
- Ensure compliance with asset policies, audit requirements, licensing obligations, and disposal standards. \n
- Identify duplicate, obsolete, missing, or unaccounted-for assets and drive corrective actions. \n
- Manage hardware asset audits and periodic physical inventory verification. \n
- Support hardware refresh, warranty, maintenance, and lifecycle planning. \n
- Monitor asset data quality and drive process improvements and automation. \n
- Prepare asset reports, dashboards, and governance updates for stakeholders. \n
- Required Skills & Experience \n
- 7+ years of relevant experience in IT Asset Management \n
- Good understanding of the hardware asset lifecycle and ITAM best practices. \n
- Experience with asset inventory, reconciliation, stockroom, procurement, and disposal processes. \n
- Knowledge of CMDB and Configuration Management principles. \n
- Experience with ITAM/HAM tools, preferably ServiceNow HAM. \n
- Experience working with vendors and cross-functional IT teams \n
