Full job description

We are looking for an experienced and detail-oriented Accountant to manage day-to-day accounting and financial operations for our textile manufacturing business.

The ideal candidate should have strong practical experience in accounting, financial reporting, inventory, costing, taxation, ERP and Excel, preferably within a textile or manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly and annual financial reports.
• Manage accounts payable, accounts receivable and inventory accounting.
• Monitor production costs, inventory costing and cost variances.
• Assist in budgeting, financial analysis and management reporting.
• Ensure compliance with applicable tax regulations and company policies.
• Coordinate with auditors, banks and relevant regulatory authorities.
• Analyze financial data and provide useful information to Management for decision-making.
• Handle import/export-related accounting and documentation where applicable.
• Maintain accurate accounting records and ensure timely reporting.
• Perform other finance and accounting duties assigned by Management.

Requirements

• 8–12 years of relevant accounting experience, preferably in textile manufacturing or a related industrial environment.
• Strong practical knowledge of financial accounting, reporting, costing and inventory.
• Good understanding of manufacturing/textile cost structures, including yarn, fabric and production-related costs.
• Experience in budgeting, variance analysis and financial reporting.
• Proficiency in ERP/accounting software.
• Advanced MS Excel skills, including Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP and financial analysis.
• Good understanding of taxation, compliance and import/export documentation in Pakistan.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet reporting deadlines.

Qualification

Candidates CIMA Qualified or equivalent qualification/ or the finalists status shall be preferred.

Pay

Rs90,000.00 - Rs175,000.00 per month
