Litigation Legal Assistant

To support our continued success, we are seeking an experienced Litigation Legal Assistant to join our team.

In this role, you will support three attorneys in our Seattle office and play an integral role in the day-to-day support of a busy, AV-rated regional litigation and meditation practice. The ideal candidate will have at least three years of litigation experience, strong organizational skills, and a commitment to providing exceptional support to attorneys and clients. Responsibilities include:
Initiate conflicts checks and open new client mattersDocket and maintain case calendarsReview court rules to ensure compliance with court format and e-filing requirementsMonitor case schedules and ensure attorneys are current with impending deadlinesDraft, proofread, format, and edit pleadings, correspondence, and client documentsE-file in federal, Washington state, and some Oregon state court jurisdictionsContact clients to schedule appointments, depositions, and trial appearancesPrepare attorneys for depositions, hearings, and trialsClose case files following data destruction proceduresKnowledge of ProLaw document and case management software helpfulProficient in Adobe Acrobat Pro and Kofax Power PDF to redact, Bates stamp, and convert documentsExperience with large file transfer platforms is helpful
The ideal candidate should enjoy collaborating with coworkers and supporting each other with flexible work schedules. Strong client service, communication, and interpersonal skills are preferred. Familiarity with insurance defense personal injury, motor vehicle, and construction defect cases are helpful.

Pay: $7 $85000.00 annually, DOE
