Infection Preventionist

Infection Preventionist Location: Rockville RN licensure is not required. Minimum 5 years of direct Infection Prevention or Infection Control experience in a true acute-care hospital; subacute-only experience does not qualify. Experience with surveillance, outbreak investigations, isolation precautions, regulatory reporting, and healthcare-associated infection prevention. Knowledge of OSHA, Joint Commission, CDC, CARF, and applicable infection prevention requirements. Ability to work independently, advise senior leaders, and collaborate effectively across clinical teams. Flexibility to work onsite in Rockville or White Oak and travel between sites when urgently needed. Master’s degree, 10+ years of experience, acute rehabilitation experience, and familiarity with NHSN, Cerner, or TheraDoc are preferred.
