Labor and Employment Associate (Hybrid) for Top Law Firm

Our client, a leading law firm with offices in Seattle, is seeking a Washington-admitted attorney with at least 2 years of employment law experience. Candidates with less direct experience but a strong interest in employment law will also be considered.The ideal candidate will possess excellent legal research and writing skills and be committed to civil litigation. Responsibilities include supporting senior attorneys through all phases of litigation, including drafting pleadings, motions, and discovery; conducting witness interviews; communicating with clients and opposing counsel; and assisting with trial preparation and second-chair trial experience.Preferred qualifications include experience handling employment-related administrative matters, such as responding to discrimination charges before the EEOC and Washington State Human Rights Commission (WSHRC), drafting position statements, and managing agency inquiries.This role is hybrid. xzbcwsv Qualifications:Active admission to practice law in Washington State2+ years of employment law and/or civil litigation experience preferredStrong legal research, writing, and analytical skillsExperience drafting pleadings, discovery, and motionsExposure to trial preparation and courtroom proceedingsPreferred: Experience with EEOC and WSHRC matters, including position statements and agency responsesAbility to work collaboratively in a fast-paced law firm environment
