About the Engagement

We are engaging an independent IT Infrastructure Audit Consultant to assess and optimize the technology ecosystem of a full-service law firm headquartered in Bangalore. As the firm scales, it is seeking an objective, expert evaluation of its current infrastructure to identify risks, inefficiencies, and modernization opportunities — and to deliver a clear, prioritized roadmap for future investment.

This is a high-visibility advisory engagement, working directly with senior leadership and IT stakeholders to shape the firm's technology direction over the next 5–6 months.

What You'll Do

Assess the current state of IT infrastructure across the firm's Bangalore office and any connected locations Evaluate network architecture, including LAN/WAN, Wi-Fi, firewalls, VPN, and remote-access setups Review server, storage, and compute infrastructure across on-premise, cloud, and hybrid environments Assess data security, access controls, and compliance posture, with particular attention to client data confidentiality obligations typical of legal practice Evaluate endpoint and device management practices across the user base Review backup, disaster recovery, and business continuity readiness Assess IT service management, helpdesk operations, and vendor/AMC management practices Review software licensing and asset management processes Identify gaps, risks, single points of failure, and technical debt in the existing environment Develop a future-ready, secure, and cost-optimized infrastructure roadmap, sequenced by priority Present findings and recommendations directly to firm leadership and IT stakeholders

Key Deliverables

Current-state infrastructure assessment report Gap analysis and risk register Infrastructure optimization and modernization roadmap (short / medium / long-term) Cost-benefit view for major recommended changes Final presentation and walkthrough with leadership and IT stakeholders

What We're Looking For

Demonstrated experience auditing IT infrastructure for professional services, legal, or similarly regulated organizations (preferred) Strong understanding of data security and confidentiality requirements relevant to the legal sector Proven ability to work independently and engage directly with senior leadership and technical stakeholders Hands-on knowledge of network architecture, cloud/hybrid infrastructure, data security, endpoint management, and IT service management Relevant certifications such as ITIL, CISA, or cloud platform certifications preferred, though not mandatory.
