Location: Mineola, NY & Eastern Long Island locationsDuration: 12+ Month ContractPay: $45 - $50/hr W2Shift: Monday - Friday, 8am - 5pmDescription:OverviewWe are seeking an organized and detail-oriented IT Infrastructure Project Coordinator to support infrastructure initiatives within a large healthcare system. This role will work closely with project managers, engineers, and clinical/operational stakeholders to ensure timely execution of infrastructure projects including network upgrades, hardware deployments, system migrations, and data center initiatives.Key ResponsibilitiesCoordinate day-to-day activities for IT infrastructure projects, ensuring timelines, deliverables, and dependencies are tracked and metSupport project managers in planning, scheduling, and executing infrastructure-related initiativesAct as a liaison between technical teams (network, server, cloud) and hospital stakeholdersTrack project milestones, risks, issues, and action items; provide regular status updatesAssist with resource coordination, including vendors, internal teams, and third-party partnersMaintain project documentation, including project plans, meeting notes, and reportsEnsure compliance with healthcare IT standards, security protocols, and organizational policiesCoordinate change management activities, including maintenance windows and communication plansSupport procurement and inventory tracking for infrastructure hardware and softwareRequired QualificationsBachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Healthcare Administration, or related field (or equivalent experience)2–5 years of experience supporting IT projects, preferably in infrastructure environmentsFamiliarity with IT infrastructure components (networks, servers, storage, cloud platforms)Experience with project coordination tools (e.g., MS Project, Smartsheet, Jira, xzbcwsv or similar)Strong organizational and communication skillsAbility to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced healthcare environmentPreferred QualificationsExperience working in a hospital or healthcare systemKnowledge of healthcare IT environments (e.g., EMR systems, HIPAA compliance)Exposure to vendors such as Cisco, VMware, Azure, or AWSPMP, CAPM, or similar project management certification (or in progress)Key SkillsProject coordination & schedulingStakeholder communicationRisk and issue trackingDocumentation and reportingCross-functional collaborationAttention to detail
