Director of Sales, Holiday Inn Express

Holiday Inn Express & Suites in Scott, LA, is looking for a passionate, results-driven Director of Sales to join our team. As the Director of Sales, you will play a key role in driving revenue growth for the hotel. This position requires a strong ability to meet sales targets through both inside and outside sales efforts, while managing and expanding guest room and meeting space rentals. Key Responsibilities:Drive sales with daily inside and outside sales calls to maximize revenue across all market segmentsEnsure all hotel information on websites, marketing materials, and ads are accurateCollaborate with the marketing team to maintain and enhance the hotel's online presence and promotional contentDevelop and implement strategic sales and marketing plans to boost hotel performanceManage sales and marketing budgets to meet revenue goalsRepresent the hotel at local events, including Chamber of Commerce and CVB meetingsBuild and maintain relationships with key clients, negotiating and closing sales dealsPrepare weekly reports on sales performance, highlighting growth opportunities and client base expansionAnalyze sales data to evaluate the effectiveness of sales strategies and programs
Qualifications:3-5+ years of relevant sales experience, hospitality preferredStrong sales, communication, and organizational skillsProficiency in Microsoft Office and other sales toolsAbility to travel locally and meet clientsAccess to reliable transportation
