Envision is seeking a Pediatric Hospitalist to serve as Site Medical Director for our growing Pediatric Hospital Medicine program at Medical City Children's Hospital in Dallas. This clinical leadership opportunity combines direct patient care with physician mentorship, operational leadership, and program development within a high-acuity tertiary care children's hospital.

What You’ll Do:

Partner with the Regional Medical Director to enhance clinical quality and operations

Support physician onboarding, education, and development

Help shape department strategy and culture

Foster collaboration with nursing, hospital leadership, and subspecialists

Maintain a clinical role with flexible scheduling options

Passion for Pediatric Hospital Medicine

Commitment to quality and patient safety

Position Profile:

PHM fellowship welcome, but not required

Daily census: 20-30 shared by two physicians + APP in summer months and 30-50 by three physicians + APP in winter months

Physician 12-hours day shift covering unit across physicians from 6a to 7p

Team participates in rotation of paid home-based support night call to APP team

Outstanding pediatric subspecialty support; 24/7 in-house specialists in PED, PICU and CVICU
