Hybrid 3 days on-site in Charlotte, NC
Our client seeks a Senior Infrastructure Analyst IV to design, implement, and support enterprise infrastructure with a focus on automation, reliability, and security. The role will develop software-driven infrastructure solutions using Python, PowerShell, Terraform, and Linux-based tooling. The position will integrate and automate across servers, storage, networking, and platform services in hybrid environments. Candidates must be eligible to convert.
Due to client requirements, applicants must be willing and able to work on a w2 basis. For our w2 consultants, we offer a great benefits package that includes Medical, Dental, and Vision benefits, 401k with company matching, and life insurance.
Rate: $52.00 to $57.00/hr. w2
Responsibilities
Provide enterprise-level support for infrastructure technologies including servers, storage, and related software.
Design and implement infrastructure automation using Python, PowerShell, Terraform, and Linux-based technologies.
Integrate software to enable usage, support, and monitoring of hardware technologies.
Develop and maintain routine work procedures and standard installation and upgrade methodologies.
Evaluate, acquire, install, test integrations, upgrade components, and monitor performance.
Plan, design, install, and support computer systems.
Facilitate technical and business planning for upgrades.
Provide technical guidance on software and hardware to IT staff.
Develop or assist in developing standards for IT software and hardware.
Assist in the design and implementation of required systems.
Integrate software and hardware configurations to maximize performance.
Coordinate hardware and software upgrades with IT and business units.
Prepare activity and progress reports for individual and project work.
Stay current on new hardware and software developments, evaluate alternatives, and recommend enhancements.
Experience Requirements
Advanced experience designing and implementing infrastructure automation with Python, PowerShell, Terraform, and Linux-based technologies.
Background in coding for enterprise infrastructure platforms, API integrations, automated provisioning and configuration, and software-driven operations.
Experience with cloud and on-premises environments; hybrid architectures using AWS and Azure preferred.
Understanding of servers, storage, networking, and platform services with ability to implement IaC and scripting solutions.
Strong documentation practices and adherence to process.
Clear written and verbal communication and effective interpersonal skills.
Ability to prioritize, research independently, multitask, and meet deadlines.
Proven ability to work in a team and work plan driven environment with minimal supervision.
Ability to present complex technical topics to senior management.
Ability to resolve complex issues and escalate appropriately.
Adaptability to change and effective stress management.
Ability to facilitate meetings and provide direction.
Education Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related discipline, or equivalent work experience.
