About this Role
We're seeking a Product Innovation Specialist to help discover, research, and develop new products through market analysis, consumer insights, and data-driven research. You'll explore emerging wellness trends, analyze products and advertising strategies, review detailed product information, and collaborate with R&D, Marketing, Design, and Operations to turn promising ideas into successful products.
This is a new graduate–friendly role with hands-on training and mentorship, ideal for someone who is detail-oriented, naturally curious, and eager to build long-term expertise in the health and wellness industry.
Key Responsibilities
Product Research & InnovationResearch emerging ingredients, product categories, and market opportunities in dietary supplements, functional foods, cosmetics, and wellness.Analyze competing products, consumer needs, and market gaps to identify promising new product opportunities.Develop product concepts, unique selling points, and positioning recommendations based on research and consumer insights.
Product Information & Quality ReviewCarefully review product labels, ingredient lists, product specifications, and marketing content for accuracy and consistency.Verify product details against supporting documentation and flag discrepancies or potential issues for further review.Apply basic scientific and quantitative knowledge to understand ingredient information, product benefits, and formulation details.Coordinate with R&D and relevant teams to support accurate product information and appropriate product claims.
Market Trends & Advertising InsightsMonitor U.S. consumer trends, competitor activities, customer reviews, and social media conversations across Amazon, TikTok, and other platforms.Research advertising creatives, messaging, and product positioning to understand what resonates with consumers.Translate market observations into actionable insights for product innovation and marketing strategies.
Data Analysis & VisualizationCollect, organize, and analyze product performance, market research, and consumer data using Excel, Google Sheets, and other analytical tools.Interpret reports, charts, and dashboards to identify meaningful trends and support product decisions.Present research findings and recommendations through clear summaries, reports, and visualizations.
Cross-Functional Collaboration & Project SupportPrepare product briefs, research summaries, presentations, and launch support materials in clear, professional English.Collaborate with R&D, Marketing, Design, Production, and Operations throughout the product development process.Track project timelines, maintain accurate documentation, and follow through on action items to support successful product launches.
Required Skills and QualificationsBachelor’s or master’s degree in Chemistry, Biology, Engineering, Marketing, Business, or related fields. An MBA or equivalent marketing-focused education is a plusStrong analytical ability with proficiency in Excel/Google Sheets; experience with data visualization tools is a plusStrong interest in wellness products (dietary supplements, functional foods, natural beauty/cosmetics)Excellent written and verbal communication in both Mandarin and EnglishAbility to craft compelling product narratives and detailed technical documentationDetail-oriented, proactive, and able to manage multiple priorities
