Job Overview

A law firm seeks a mid-level to senior associate with 4-8 years of experience to join the Technology Transactions, Cybersecurity, and Privacy Practice Group in any U.S. office. The role focuses on technology transactions in the health care and life sciences sectors.

Duties

• Draft, review, and negotiate commercial technology agreements.
• Advise on privacy and data security laws applicable to health care.
• Manage transactions independently and collaborate with senior attorneys and clients.
• Provide counsel on health technology and artificial intelligence matters.

Requirements

• 4-8 years of relevant experience in technology transactions.
• Strong organizational, analytical, and critical-thinking skills.
• Excellent writing, drafting, negotiation, and communication skills.
• Ability to exercise sound judgment and prioritize tasks effectively.

Education

• JD from an ABA-accredited law school with strong academic credentials.

Certifications

• Active member in good standing of the Bar in the jurisdiction(s) where admitted to practice.

Skills

• Experience with software and SaaS agreements, data licensing, and cloud services agreements.
• Knowledge of HIPAA and state health and consumer privacy laws.
• Experience with AI-enabled products and digital health solutions preferred.
