Short-Form Video Creator & Content Researcher

Employment Type: Remote (Contract)

About Us:

We built ScrollToll: Screen Time Gym, an app that locks distracting apps such as TikTok, Instagram, and YouTube until users complete real physical exercises like push-ups, squats, and crunches. Exercises are verified in real time with AI pose estimation, so users earn their screen time back by moving.

We are scaling our organic presence across TikTok, Instagram Reels, and YouTube Shorts. We’re looking for a camera-confident creator who can identify emerging trends, research strong hooks, and turn them into entertaining, high-converting content for Western audiences.

What You’ll Do:

• On-Camera Content: Create natural, engaging, and humorous short-form videos that feel authentic rather than scripted.
• Trend Research: Monitor viral formats, trending audio, and emerging concepts across TikTok and Reels, and adapt them for our product.
• Competitive Insights: Track content from competitor and adjacent apps and share regular findings on what is performing well.
• Hooks and Calls to Action: Write and deliver compelling hooks in the first three seconds, and natural calls to action that drive app installs.

What we are looking for

• Deep, native understanding of short-form platforms and how their algorithms reward content.
• Comfort and confidence performing on camera.
• A strong eye for audio selection, pacing, and current editing styles.
• Fluent English and an understanding of US and Western internet culture.
