Educational Qualification (Minimum Requirement):

• Master’s in Interior Design
• or Master’s in Architecture with specialization or demonstrable expertise in Interior Design and Spatial Studies

Type of Industry Experience required

Interior design work, Furniture design, good 2D, 3D, and rendering software knowledge

No. of years of work experience required

At least 3 - 10years of experience

Key Result Areas

The following understanding of would be required -

Software understanding like V-ray, Lumion, AutoCAD, SketchUp, Rhino, Revit, Twinmotion.

Technical knowledge with an understanding of MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing) drawings.

Expertise in Spatial Design, with strong industry connections and practical exposure.

Proficiency in Interior Detailing and Construction Detailing, including furniture design, wall panel systems, and emerging materials.

Strong industry collaboration skills and proficiency in documentation and academic paperwork.

Core Competencies:

• Software Capability : Advanced command over 2D/3D and rendering software, Auto cad, SketchUp, Excel, Revit, Rhino, rendering software like V-ray, Lumion, Twinmotion
• Technical proficiency : Strong material understanding, market knowhow and ability to create construction drawings.
• Industry Networking : Established professional connections, able to bring real projects and collaborations
• Teaching Excellence : Student-centric approach, experiential pedagogy, and strong mentorship ability
• Administrative Skills : Ability to work with faculty coordination, curriculum enhancement, and academic quality assurance.
