Role Description This is a full-time, on-site role based at the Roorkee campus for a Professor/Head in the MBA Department/Mathematics. The role involves leading academic activities, delivering lectures, designing and updating course curricula, and mentoring learners in the MBA and/or Mathematics disciplines. The Professor/Head will oversee departmental planning, ensure adherence to academic standards, and coordinate teaching schedules, examinations, and continuous assessment. Daily responsibilities include conducting research, guiding projects and dissertations, participating in academic committees, and fostering industry and academic collaborations. The role also requires contributing to institutional development through strategic initiatives, accreditation processes, and quality enhancement measures. Qualifications Strong analytical skills to support data-driven decision-making, curriculum development, and problem-solving within the department. Proven research capabilities, including publications in reputed journals, supervising research projects, and contributing to academic conferences. Demonstrated teaching proficiency in MBA subjects and/or Mathematics, with experience in modern pedagogical methods and learner-centered instruction. Strategy skills to lead departmental planning, academic initiatives, and alignment with institutional goals and regulatory requirements. Doctoral degree (Ph.D.) in Management, Mathematics, or a closely related discipline; eligibility as per AICTE/UGC norms. Prior experience as Professor/Head or in a senior academic role, preferably in an accredited institution. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with faculty, staff, and learners.
