Designation: AVP - Operations (US Market) At Flipspaces, Business Leaders are the backbone of our growth. They act as complete owners of their domainswhether its closing high-value sales, delivering bespoke designs, or driving timely project execution under operations. The GM/AVP US Operations will be a core leadership member, entrusted with heading the operations and back-end functions of Flipspacess US business. This role demands a balance of strategic oversight and hands-on executionensuring project excellence, profitability, risk mitigation, and client satisfaction. What is Expected of an Operations Business Leader: Operations & Business Leadership: - Head operations and backend for overall accounts, ensuring achievement of business goals. - Own P&L delivery with accountability for profitability, cost control, and financial reporting. - Execute initiatives ranging from broad ops strategies to tactical improvements. - Develop and implement workflows that enhance organizational effectiveness. - Build and scale systems, tools, and processes, including evaluating new project management technologies Project & Construction Management: - Oversee execution of interior fit-out projects, ensuring quality, timelines, and profitability. - Identify work fronts, allocate resources, and supervise labor planning. - Lead weekly project reviews to define success factors, track KPIs, and mitigate risks. - Coordinate across design, engineering, services, and procurement teams for seamless delivery. - Ensure compliance with quality standards, safety norms, permits, and regulatory requirements. - Drive proactive resolution of delays and unexpected challenges. Client & Stakeholder Management: - Act as the primary point of contact for clients, senior management, consultants, and external partners. - Ensure client delight through transparent communication, regular reviews, and superior delivery. - Manage multi-stakeholder engagement across internal teams and external vendors/contractors. - Facilitate outreach for small-scale requirements during execution where necessary. Risk & Financial Management: - Develop and implement a robust risk management framework. - Anticipate potential risks, design mitigation plans, and monitor execution. - Collaborate with finance teams to oversee billing, payment realization, and budget adherence. - Ensure P&L oversight, cost minimization, and maximization of margins. People Leadership & Quality Control: - Lead, mentor, and grow a team of 820 professionals across design, PM, and procurement. - Ensure hiring, training, and effective utilization of resources to deliver high-quality outcomes. - Build a culture of accountability, performance, and cross-functional collaboration. - Oversee flawless documentation for management and client reporting. Are You the One: We are looking for leaders who are: - Passionate about both the creative process and the business of design & build. - Experienced (8 years) in operations/project management in commercial office design & build, interiors, construction, or similar industries. - Skilled at project management with strong planning, execution, and financial acumen. - Adept at handling high-value projects with short delivery timelines. - Numerically strong with proven ability to manage financial reporting, budgeting, and profitability. - Excellent in stakeholder management and client engagement, with exceptional communication skills. - Self-motivated, agile, and comfortable working beyond the comfort zone in a high-performance environment. Comfortable travelling to US for projects.
