Mechanics / Model Makers / Tinkerer-types (m/f/d) for Exhibit Assembly Location:Hüttinger USA Inc., Midland Michigan 48640, USA
Your tasks will include:Mechatronics Specialist:Assembly and development of electronic control systems and assembliesAssembly and testing of electrical and electronic components within exhibitsAssembly, commissioning, and maintenance of exhibits at locations worldwide
Exhibit Assembly:Assembly and commissioning of exhibits – ranging from individual pieces to complete exhibitionsFabrication of parts and components based on technical drawingsTesting and optimization of interactive exhibits and display piecesOn-site installation at client locations worldwide – you play a part in the final "wow moment"
Exhibit Maintenance:Regular inspection of exhibits in your home base museumRegular travel to institutions which our exhibits have been installed for inspection and repairsCrafting of custom parts needed for regular maintenance Qualifications:Completed vocational training as a precision mechanic, industrial mechanic, or model makerExperience working with conventional machine tools (e.g., turning, milling)A passion for precision work, a strong technical aptitude, and a creative streakSolution-oriented thinking, independence, and organizational skillsTeam spirit and a willingness to contribute constructively xzbcwsv to joint projectsWillingness to travel occasionally nationally and worldwideBasic German skills are a plus but not required We offer:Varied and challenging project tasksA family-like atmosphere in a small workshop environmentA permanent employment contract with flexible working hours (flextime)Opportunities for internal advancementSpecial Employee eventsProfessional development opportunitiesHealth insurance and benefitsCompetitive salary  Interested?
