Marketing API Specialist

Job Purpose

To drive the growth of the company's Active Pharmaceutical Ingredients (API) business in international markets by identifying new business opportunities, developing strategic customer relationships, expanding market presence, and achieving revenue targets while ensuring regulatory compliance and cross-functional alignment.

1. Business Development: Identify and pursue new business opportunities in international markets to expand the adoption of our API solutions.

2. Market Research: Conduct comprehensive market research and analysis to identify market trends, customer needs, and the competitive landscape to inform business strategies.

3. Sales & Negotiation: Lead the sales process from initial contact to contract negotiation and closure, ensuring alignment with company objectives and revenue targets.

4. Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including marketing, product development, and customer success, to ensure alignment and successful implementation of API solutions.

5. Customer Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers and stakeholders.

6. Marketing Strategy Execution: Contribute to the development and execution of marketing strategies to promote APIs in international markets.

7. Sales Forecasting & Reporting: Develop sales forecasts and provide regular reports on sales performance and market trends.

8. Compliance & Regulatory Awareness: Stay abreast of relevant regulations and compliance requirements related to API marketing and sales.

Qualifications & Experience

Education:

• MBA (Marketing/International Business/Pharmaceutical Mangement).

Experience:

• 1-2 years of experience in International Business Development, API Sales, Pharmaceutical Exports, or related commercial roles.
• Proven track record of managing international customers and achieving sales targets.
