Warehouse Manager

The Judge Group is seeking a Warehouse Inventory Manager for a manufacturing client in Elwood, IL area!Responsibilities:Develop procedures for verifying shipments, material handling, and maintaining accurate inventory recordsInvestigate and address customer and shipper complaintsCoordinate warehouse operations with other departments including production, sales, and purchasingPlan daily warehouse activities based on shipping, receiving, and stock rotation needsInterview, hire, train, and supervise warehouse staff, including conducting performance reviews and resolving issuesAssign tasks and review work for quality and adherence to policiesOversee movement of materials and finished goods from receiving to storageSupervise truck loading, order picking, and receiving processesMaintain daily inventory records and coordinate warehouse staff dutiesManage warehouse organization and appearanceOversee forklift operations and maintenance in warehouse and shipping areasReview and assess internal inventory controls and identify areas for improvementCoordinate cycle counts, reconcile discrepancies, and analyze resultsWork with purchasing to manage inventory controlEnsure FIFO system is maintained and support production with ingredient needs and product traceabilityMonitor inventory levels and report out-of-stock or overstock conditionsMaintain inventory accuracy and log numbersDocument and update inventory control proceduresPromote safety and ensure compliance xzbcwsv with safety protocolsPerform other assigned duties

Requirements:Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience3-5 years in warehousing or logistics with supervisory backgroundExperience in high-volume distribution, warehouse, or manufacturingKnowledge of warehouse management systems such as SAPGeneral manufacturing environment knowledge preferred
