The Opportunity An excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced Assembly Technician to join a team in Ware, working on the assembly and testing of electro-mechanical products.
The successful candidate will have experience assembling mechanical and electrical components, including servo motors and PCB sub-assemblies. This is a hands-on role suited to someone who takes pride in accurate workmanship, follows technical instructions and enjoys troubleshooting and solving practical problems.
Key Responsibilities Assemble electro-mechanical components and products in line with technical drawings and specifications.
Build and assemble servo motors and PCB sub-assemblies.
Test and inspect completed assemblies to ensure correct operation and quality standards.
Identify, diagnose and resolve assembly faults.
Replace defective components and carry out repairs where necessary.
Use hand tools, power tools and equipment, including T-bars, Allen keys and screwdrivers.
Carry out basic maintenance on machinery and assembly equipment.
Follow health and safety procedures and maintain a clean, safe working environment.
Ensure all products meet required quality and safety standards.
Working Hours Monday to Thursday: 8:00 am – 5:00 pm
Friday: 8:00 am – 2:30 pm
The Ideal Candidate The ideal candidate will have 3–5 years of relevant assembly experience , preferably within an electro-mechanical manufacturing environment.
You should be comfortable working with technical drawings, using a range of hand and power tools, and carrying out testing and fault finding. Good communication skills, attention to detail and a practical, problem-solving approach are essential.
