<p>Overview Registered Nurse Operating Room (OR) travel assignment in Lawrenceville, Georgia. Start date: 08/10/2026 for 13 weeks. Guaranteed 40 hours per week with four 10-hour day shifts and on-call responsibilities. Work in a hospital operating room setting with a focus on neuro and orthopedic cases, with occasional robotics involvement. Weekly pay range: 1,847 to 1,952 per week. Cerner electronic medical record experience is required, and strong intraoperative collaboration is essential. AHA BLS and ACLS certifications are required. Minimum 2 years of recent OR experience within the specialty is required. Active RN license is required for practice in this assignment. Key Highlights - Weekly pay: 1,8471,952 per week - Guaranteed hours: 40 per week - Contract duration: 13 weeks - Shift: 4 x 10-hour day shifts with on-call responsibilities - Start date: 08/10/2026 - Work setting: hospital OR environment - Specialty focus: Neuro and Orthopedics; robotics experience is a plus Responsibilities - Deliver perioperative nursing care in the OR for neuro and orthopedic procedures, including preoperative preparation, intraoperative assistance, and postoperative care. - Circulate or scrub as assigned, maintain sterile technique, and ensure patient safety throughout anesthesia administration and surgical handling. - Monitor patient status, respond to intraoperative events, and coordinate with the surgical team to support efficient, safe cases. - Operate and troubleshoot OR equipment, manage positioning and safety devices, and document intraoperative care in the Cerner EMR. - Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and ancillary staff to optimize patient outcomes, including complex robotics-assisted cases when required. - Adhere to hospital policies, infection prevention protocols, and regulatory requirements to maintain high standards of patient care.
