Branch Operations Manager

LHH is seeking a Branch Operations Manager for a Direct Hire, Permanent Placement position with a wholesale and showroom-based distribution client located in Indianapolis, IN. This is an opportunity to lead a location within a stable and growing organization known for strong customer relationships and operational excellence. The position offers the chance to build and develop a high-performing team while driving revenue growth and improving front of house operations. The compensation is commensurate to experience and includes a base salary, bonus, and commissions which are estimated to reach around $90,000+ per year. The package also includes incredibly affordable medical insurance plans, generous Paid Time Off, and a 401K plan with a company match.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIESOversee daily branch operations including sales, front of house/counter operations, delivery, and customer service functionsDrive branch performance through effective leadership, accountability, and operational executionManage full P&L responsibility including revenue, margins, expenses, and profitabilityDevelop and execute branch-level growth strategies to increase market share and revenueBuild and maintain strong relationships with key customers and local partnersPartner with sales teams to develop pipeline and achieve revenue targetsMonitor KPIs and implement corrective actions to improve performance outcomesLead inventory management efforts including accuracy, levels, and replenishment planningEnsure efficient coordination between purchasing, logistics, and warehouse teamsHire, train, and develop employees to build a high-performing and engaged workforceFoster a culture of teamwork, accountability, and continuous improvementMaintain compliance with company policies, safety standards, and operational proceduresIdentify process improvements to enhance productivity and service levelsSupport customer satisfaction initiatives and resolve escalated service issues
QUALIFICATIONSBachelor Degree in Business, Sales, Supply Chain, Operations Management, or Construction is preferredNON-NEGOTIABLE: Minimum of 3+ years of leadership experience within the building materials/building supply industries is requiredMust have experience working within homebuilder/contractor-driven sales environmentsMust have the ability to manage full P&L and drive branch profitabilityMust have experience leading cross-functional teams across sales, warehouse, and customer serviceIdeal candidates will have the ability to develop and execute growth strategiesStrong leadership, communication, and team development skills requiredStrong analytical skills with a focus on performance metrics and improvementPositive attitude with strong accountability and ownership mindsetAdaptability in a fast-paced, results-driven environmentMust be authorized to work in the U.S. without employer sponsorship. xzbcwsv
