A leading distribution firm is seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Accounts Officer with knowledge of import/export processes to join its finance team.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate and up-to-date vendor accounts.
• Ensure timely and accurate payments to vendors.
• Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies.
• Prepare claims related to exchange differences.
• Assist in developing and implementing internal processes and procedures.
• Maintain and update the import duties register.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or a related field.
• 1–2 years of experience in a similar role.
• Proficiency in MS Office and accounting systems.
• Knowledge of import/export processes and procedures.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
