Our client is seeking an experienced Senior Engineer to lead the design, development, and execution of custom engineered products. This is a hands-on leadership role that combines mechanical design, project management, customer interaction, and technical mentorship.
ResponsibilitiesDesign and develop company products using SolidWorks and other engineering softwareCreate detailed engineering drawings for customer proposals and manufacturingGenerate bills of material (BOMs) and routings to support estimating and productionDevelop owner manuals, testing procedures, and engineering documentationPerform engineering calculations and equipment sizingProvide technical support throughout fabrication, assembly, and productionSupport field installations and troubleshoot product-related issues as neededServe as Lead Engineer on assigned projects, acting as the primary technical contact for customers and vendorsManage project schedules, quality objectives, and budgetsProvide technical leadership and mentorship to engineering and design team membersGuide cross-functional teams through product development and project execution activities
QualificationsBachelor's Degree in Engineering requiredMinimum of 10 years of engineering experienceStrong proficiency with SolidWorks CAD softwareExperience creating engineering drawings, BOMs, and manufacturing documentationAbility to perform engineering calculations and equipment sizingProven project leadership experienceStrong communication and customer-facing skillsExperience supporting manufacturing operations
Preferred BackgroundCustom machinery, material handling, automation, industrial xzbcwsv equipment, or manufacturing environmentsLeadership, mentoring, or supervisory experience within an engineering teamExperience managing multiple engineering projects simultaneously
