Regional sales head

Job Summary:

Policybazaar is hiring an experienced Regional Manager to lead the Direct Channel business for our Insurance vertical in Hyderabad. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in field sales, team management, and business development, with the ability to drive regional sales performance and manage large multi-level teams.

Key Responsibilities:

Drive regional business growth and achieve sales targets for the Insurance business. Lead and manage a large field sales team comprising: Assistant Managers (AM) Deputy Managers (DM) Team Leaders (TL) Field Sales Executives (FSE) Develop and implement sales strategies to increase market penetration and revenue. Monitor team performance, productivity, and target achievement. Recruit, train, mentor, and develop high-performing sales teams. Ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory guidelines. Analyze market trends, competitor activities, and identify business opportunities. Coordinate with internal stakeholders to ensure smooth business operations and customer satisfaction.

Desired Candidate Profile

Minimum 15+ years of experience in Sales, preferably in Insurance, BFSI, or Financial Services. Proven experience in managing regional sales operations and multi-layer field sales teams. Strong leadership, people management, and coaching skills. Experience in Direct Channel (Open Market) sales is mandatory. Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills. Ability to drive business growth through strategic planning and execution. Handled more than 100+ employees. Knowledge of the regional language (Telugu) is mandatory. Willingness to travel extensively across the assigned region.

Working Schedule

6 Days Working Saturday & Sunday are mandatory working days One rotational weekly off.
