About the Role:

Looking for a passionate and experienced Childcare Director to lead our preschool team in Magnolia, TX. This is an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful impact on the lives of children and families while building and guiding a dedicated childcare staff. Responsibilities:

• Oversee daily operations of the childcare facility, ensuring a safe, nurturing, and compliant environment
• Recruit, hire, train, and supervise childcare staff and teaching assistants
• Oversee and implement age-appropriate curriculum and educational programming
• Ensure compliance with state licensing regulations and childcare standards
• Build and maintain positive relationships with parents, guardians, and the local community
• Manage facility budget, enrollment, and administrative operations
• Conduct regular staff evaluations and facilitate ongoing professional development

Requirements:

• Childcare Director License
• Minimum 2–3 years of experience in childcare management or a director-level role
• Knowledge of Texas childcare licensing requirements and state regulations
• Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
• Current CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)
• Experience with curriculum development and early childhood best practices
• Compassionate, patient, and dedicated to the well-being of children and families
