Windmoor Healthcare of Clearwater is a full service psychiatric hospital specializing in treatment of acute psychiatric and substance abuse services for adults. The hospital is located in Clearwater, Florida and offers programs including substance abuse, dual diagnosis, and partial hospitalization. We are looking for a therapist to work evenings M-F in an evening IOP Tele-health program. The therapist will conduct therapeutic services for patients and provide counseling sessions for families, individuals and groups. They will also interview and develop the psychosocial history, assess the therapeutic needs of the individual and family and make clinical mental health evaluations, develop appropriate treatment objectives and established periodic treatment summaries. The therapist will act as the patients' and families' primary contact during the patients' stay at the facility, as well as their advocate with the treatment team. They will also participate as liaison with external agencies and individuals to develop and coordinate discharge planning with the treatment team and patients' families.

Qualifications: Master's Degree or doctoral from an accredited college or university in Social Work. Current license from State of Florida required for LMHC and LCSW to deliver outpatient services. Minimum of one (1) year of direct clinical experience specific to family, individual and group therapy preferred. CPR certification and successful completion of restraining procedures training within 30 days of employment. Understanding of The Joint Commission (TJC), AHCA, OSHA and applicable state and federal regulatory requirements. Must be able to effectively communicate with patients and their family members, multidisciplinary treatment team members, managed care representatives and external agencies in a clear, concise, calm, professional manner. Demonstrate excellent critical thinking and organizational skills. Able to lift 30 lbs.
