The main objective is to verify and record all incoming and outgoing shipments as well as prepare items for shipment.Essential Duties And Responsibilities:Compare identifying information and counts, weights or measure items of incoming and outgoing shipments to verify against bills of lading, invoices, orders or other records.Determine method of shipment, utilizing knowledge of shipping procedures, routes and rates.Correctly prepare all outgoing shipments for pick-up.Coordinate shipping and receiving with third party shipping companies.Oversee all Fed-Ex, UPS, or other special mail shipments.Oversee and handle all incoming shipments.Route incoming shipments to correct storage or work areas.QualificationsAbility to operate warehouse equipment such as forklift, pallet jack, and delivery truck.Inventory control procedures.Ability to prepare bills of lading and packing lists.Ability to lift 50 pounds.Experience:Must be a high school graduate.Computer input skills.
