Opportunity to join a Top South FL General Contractor Lead a team of strong estimators from conception to close About Our Client A company within the property and construction industry located in South Florida. Job Description Prepare detailed cost estimates by analyzing blueprints, specifications, and other documentation. Collaborate with project managers and other stakeholders to determine project requirements and budgets. Identify potential risks and develop strategies to mitigate cost overruns. Review and update estimates as project plans evolve. Maintain relationships with subcontractors and suppliers to gather accurate pricing information. Provide support during bidding processes and present cost evaluations to clients. Track project costs and ensure alignment with approved budgets. Contribute to process improvements to enhance estimating accuracy and efficiency. The Successful Applicant A successful Senior Estimator should have: Experience with cost estimation in the property and construction industry. Strong analytical skills and attention to detail. Ability to interpret blueprints, specifications, and technical documents. Excellent communication and collaboration abilities. Proficiency with relevant estimating software and tools. Problem-solving skills to address project challenges effectively. Knowledge of construction materials, methods, and market pricing.
