Junior Architect (Museum & Exhibition Project)

An experiential design and execution company in Mayapuri, Delhi is hiring a Junior Architect with 2–4 years of experience in architectural execution, technical documentation and site coordination. The role involves developing execution-ready drawings and supporting the on-ground delivery of museums, exhibitions, experience centres, installations and brand experience projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare GFC, shop and fabrication drawings in AutoCAD, including plans, sections, elevations, joinery and installation details.
• Develop SketchUp models to support fit-out detailing, installation planning and site coordination.
• Conduct site measurements and surveys and update drawings based on actual site conditions.
• Supervise civil, interior, exhibit and finishing works in accordance with drawings, specifications and quality requirements.
• Coordinate with fabricators, vendors, contractors and AV, lighting, MEP and content teams during project execution.
• Prepare and verify quantities, material take-offs, measurement sheets and BOQ inputs.
• Review material samples, finishes and mock-ups against approved specifications.
• Resolve drawing and technical queries arising during site execution and coordinate required approvals.
• Prepare progress reports, site photographs, snag lists and handover documentation.
• Maintain drawing registers, revisions, as-built drawings and project documentation.

Requirements

• B.Arch from a recognised institution.
• 2–4 years of experience in architectural execution and site coordination.
• Experience in museums, exhibitions, interiors, retail fit-outs or experiential projects is preferred.
• Strong proficiency in AutoCAD for working, shop and as-built drawings.
• Working knowledge of SketchUp for 3D modelling and site coordination.
• Working knowledge of Photoshop for visual markups and project documentation.
• Practical use of AI tools for documentation, reporting, drawing review, visualisation or productivity.
• Good understanding of construction methods, materials, finishes and fabrication techniques.
• Ability to read and coordinate architectural, structural, MEP and AV drawings.
• Experience with quantity estimation, measurement verification and billing documentation.
• Strong coordination, communication and problem-solving skills.
• Willingness to travel and work at project sites across India as required.
• Portfolio demonstrating executed projects, working/shop drawings and site experience is mandatory.

Work Schedule

• Location: Mayapuri, Delhi
• Working days: Monday - Saturday (10:00 AM - 6:00 PM); 2nd & 4th Saturday off
