Join Our Team: Esse Health is currently seeking a full-time LPN for our Swansea Internal Medicine Office located at 4 Park Place in Swansea, IL! Opportunity:

  • Full-time opening
  • Monday, 7:30 a.m. - 6:00 p.m., Tuesday & Thursday, 8:00 a.m. - 6:00 p.m., Wednesday, 8:00 a.m. - 5:30 p.m. and rotating Fridays, 8:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m.
  • No weekends or holidays
  • Outpatient clinical practice

Day-to-Day:
  • Provide direct or indirect nursing care to patients who present with urgent, emergent, or potential health problems
  • Utilize your knowledge and basic nursing principles, practices and ethics
  • Assist the provider in the interviewing, examination and treatment of patients
  • Measure vital signs such as pulse rate, temperature, blood pressure, weight and height
  • Perform phlebotomy and give injections
  • Document patient care accurately and efficiently in the electronic health record (NextGen)
  • Coordinate care with other members of the healthcare team
Who we are seeking (preferred):
  • The LPN is highly visible in their interactions with patients and must therefore project a positive office image at all times including smiling, greeting patients with enthusiasm, and maintaining an upbeat, positive attitude in all interactions with patients and coworkers.
  • Formal training which will probably be indicated by a graduation certificate from an accredited LPN school of nursing.
  • Current State licensure (IL).
  • CPR Certification.
  • One of more years of experience in ambulatory care.
  • PC/Windows proficiency.
  • Willingness to assign high priority to patient comfort and satisfaction.
  • Ability to communicate effectively and to work compatibly with physicians, coworkers, and employees in other departments.
