Role Overview

We are looking for a qualified and detail-oriented professional with strong experience in Income Tax and Audit functions. The ideal candidate should have completed articleship and possess at least 4+ years of post-articleship experience, preferably in a CA firm. The role involves handling corporate taxation, tax audits, compliance matters, and responding to income tax notices while ensuring accuracy and adherence to statutory regulations.

Key Responsibilities

• Handle audit and taxation work for corporate clients.
• Conduct Tax Audits for firms, trusts, and corporates in compliance with statutory requirements.
• Prepare and review income tax computations, returns, and related documentation.
• Draft submissions and replies for appeals, assessments, and income tax notices.
• Coordinate and follow up with tax authorities for compliance and assessment matters.
• Ensure timely and accurate filing of tax-related documents and reports.
• Manage GST compliance, including return filings and reconciliations.
• Assist in GST Audit activities (preferred).
• Maintain proper documentation and support during audits and compliance checks.
• Coordinate with internal teams and clients for financial and taxation-related requirements.

Key Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Completion of Articleship is preferred.
• Minimum 4+ years of post-articleship experience, preferably in a CA firm.
• Strong knowledge of Income Tax, Tax Audit, and Corporate Taxation.
• Experience in handling appeals, assessments, and income tax notices.
• Working knowledge of GST compliances and GST Audit procedures
• Proficiency in MS Excel and accounting/taxation software.
• Strong analytical, drafting, and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple assignments and adhere to strict deadlines.
