Job Description
Our client, a luxury women's apparel company is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to join their team in NYC!

Responsibilities:Support the Store Manager in achieving sales goals and maintaining elevated service standards.Lead daily team huddles, communicate priorities, and provide ongoing coaching and feedback.Observe and coach selling behaviors on the floor to strengthen team performance.Drive sales metrics, conversion, and units-per-transaction goals through active floor leadership.Build customer relationships and manage escalated service situations professionally.Foster consistent clienteling and relationship-building practices across the sales team.Oversee front-of-house processes, including opening and closing procedures, customer service policies, and floor readiness.Partner with the Back of House team to maintain product availability and visual alignment.Support in-store initiatives and retail activations with the Store Manager and cross-functional partners.Lead by example and ensure the store environment reflects established brand standards.
Qualifications:2+ years of experience.Strong leadership, coaching, and team-development skills.Demonstrated ability in selling, customer service, and clienteling.Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.Availability to work flexible schedules, including weekends, holidays, and evenings.Ability to stand for extended periods, bend, reach, and lift up to 50 pounds.
Full-time on-site.
Salary: $70k – $80k salary + commission.
