Patient Relationship Coordinator

Organisation: Crystal Eye Hospital

Reports to: Centre Manager / Business Head

We are looking for a confident and empathetic coordinator to guide patients through counselling, treatment planning, financial discussions, booking, and follow-up.

Candidates may come from sales, management, healthcare, hospitality, or customer-service backgrounds. Former optometrists, nurses, and other clinical professionals interested in moving into patient counselling and coordination are encouraged to apply.

• Understand patients’ needs, concerns, lifestyle, and expectations.
• Explain hospital services and doctor-advised options in simple language.
• Coordinate consultations, investigations, procedures, and follow-ups.
• Reinforce the doctor’s advice without independently making clinical recommendations.
• Explain treatment estimates, packages, insurance, and payment options.
• Address non-clinical concerns and escalate medical questions to the doctor.
• Follow up with patients and support treatment or procedure bookings.
• Maintain accurate counselling, follow-up, and conversion records.
• Coordinate with doctors, optometrists, nurses, diagnostics, billing, and other teams.
• Work towards patient-satisfaction, conversion, and revenue targets ethically.
  

• Graduate or diploma holder in any relevant discipline.
• Suitable backgrounds may include:
• Sales and relationship management
• Optometry
• Nursing
• Healthcare coordination
• Hospital administration
• Management and marketing
• Hospitality and customer service
• Healthcare experience is preferred but not mandatory.
• Former optometrists or nurses seeking a non-clinical, patient-facing role may apply.
• Strong communication, counselling, coordination, and follow-up skills.
• Empathetic, persuasive, organised, and comfortable working with targets.
• Willing to undergo training in eye-care services, counselling, and ethical sales.
