Role Description The Senior Accountant role at NCS & Co is a full-time, on-site position based in Chennai. The role involves managing end-to-end accounting activities of the clients, including general ledger maintenance, accounts payable and receivable, bank reconciliations, and month-end and year-end closing. The Senior Accountant will prepare and review financial statements, support tax computations and filings, and ensure compliance with applicable accounting standards and regulatory requirements. This role includes working closely with clients to understand their financial processes, support audits, and contribute to building scalable finance functions and transaction readiness. The Senior Accountant will also mentor junior team members, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and support the implementation of technology-driven improvements in finance operations.
Qualifications
- Minimum 3+ years of experience in a CA Firm.
- Experience with statutory compliance, tax computations, audit support, and application of relevant accounting standards.
- Proficiency in accounting and ERP software, advanced Excel skills, and comfort with technology-enabled finance processes.
- Ability to analyze financial data, prepare management reports, and provide actionable insights for decision making.
- Clear, professional communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with clients and internal teams.
- Experience mentoring or supervising junior accounting staff and contributing to team development.
- Semi qualified, CA-Articleship completed candidates are preferred
