Technical Analyst – Tanium Endpoint Configuration engineer

Key Skill - Administer and support Tanium modules including Patch, Comply, Deploy, Discover, and Enforce.

Responsibilities:

Administer and support Tanium modules including Patch, Comply, Deploy, Discover, and Enforce Design and maintain endpoint configuration baselines and enforcement policies using Tanium Enforce Manage enterprise patching and vulnerability remediation using Tanium Patch and Comply Build and optimize sensors, packages, and saved questions for endpoint visibility and control Enforce endpoint configuration compliance across Windows, Linux, and mac OS fleets Develop automation scripts (Power Shell, Bash, Python) to streamline endpoint operations Integrate Tanium with ITSM and security tools (e.g., Service Now, SIEM platforms) using APIs Monitor endpoint health, agent coverage, and configuration drift across the environment Provide Tier 3 support for endpoint configuration, patching, and Tanium platform issues Perform platform maintenance, upgrades, and scalability tuning Support audit and compliance reporting with accurate endpoint configuration data

Experience & Requirements:

5–7+ years in endpoint engineering, systems administration, or infrastructure operations Strong hands-on experience with the Tanium platform, including Enforce Expertise in endpoint management across Windows, Linux, and mac OS Experience with patch management and vulnerability remediation workflows Strong scripting skills (Power Shell, Bash, or Python) Experience integrating enterprise tools via APIs (Service Now, SIEM, etc.) Understanding of enterprise security and compliance standards (CIS, NIST, ISO 27001)
