Intake Coordinator (On-site)

This is an on-site role in our downtown Seattle office. Reed Longyear is seeking an organized, empathetic, and detail-oriented Intake Coordinator to be the first point of contact for prospective clients. Providing regular coverage for our receptionist is also a core responsibility of this position.

Responsibilities include: Serve as the initial point of contact for prospective clients via phone, email, and website inquiriesConduct preliminary client interviews to obtain relevant information regarding legal issues, case background, and potential representationInput and maintain accurate and confidential client information in the case management systemCoordinate and schedule client consultations with attorneysFollow up with potential clients as needed to complete the intake process or provide updatesProvide full front desk coverage whenever the receptionist is on meal breaks or absentMaintain knowledge of the firm’s practice areas and communicate services clearly to prospective clientsEnsure high-quality customer service and represent the firm in a professional and compassionate mannerCollaborate with attorneys, paralegals, and administrative staff to support overall case management Qualifications: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and writtenStrong organizational skills with attention to detail and the ability to multitaskBachelor’s Degree or Associate’s Degree At least one year of experience in legal intake, client services, or a similar role in a law firm or professional services environment strongly preferred xzbcwsv Familiarity with legal processes and terminology is a plusHigh degree of professionalism, discretion, and empathy when dealing with sensitive client mattersProficient in Microsoft Office Suite (legal case management software is a plus)Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment

Compensation Range: $50,000-$65,000 Annually
