Piper Companies is seeking a Construction Project Manager to join a growing construction and engineering organization located in Greensboro, NC . The Construction Project Manager will oversee commercial construction projects from initial concept through completion, managing budgets, schedules, purchasing, subcontractors, and client requirements while ensuring projects are delivered on time and within budget. Responsibilities for the Construction Project Manager Include: Manage construction projects from kickoff and design through final construction and closeout. Develop and maintain project budgets, schedules, purchasing requirements, and construction documentation. Coordinate project teams including Design, Estimating, Superintendents, Safety/Quality, subcontractors, and vendors. Review architectural, structural, site, and MEP drawings for constructability and project requirements. Partner with Design and Estimating teams on value engineering, material selection, and cost-saving opportunities. Manage subcontractor/vendor selection, shop drawings, submittals, agency approvals, and procurement activities. Serve as a primary client contact and communicate project progress, risks, changes, and scheduling requirements. Manage change orders, monthly pay applications, project documentation, and contract requirements. Monitor construction progress and work closely with the Superintendent to maintain project schedules. Qualifications for the Construction Project Manager Include: 3+ years of commercial construction, project management, estimating, or related experience. Bachelor's degree preferred; equivalent combination of education and relevant construction experience considered. Strong understanding of commercial construction concepts, estimating, materials, and construction methods. Ability to read and interpret construction plans, specifications, architectural drawings, and MEP documents. Experience with Primavera P6, Procore, Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook . Strong project budgeting, scheduling, problem-solving, and subcontractor management skills. Excellent client-facing communication and ability to coordinate multiple project stakeholders. Experience with retail, medical, institutional, or Design-Build construction preferred. Compensation for the Construction Project Manager Includes: Salary Range: $120,000 - $160,000 annually depending on experience.
