Role Description This full-time Pediatric Occupational Therapist role based in Bengaluru South, with a combination of on-site work at the centre and some home visits locally. The therapist will assess children’s developmental, sensory, motor, and functional needs, and design individualized intervention plans to support participation in daily activities at home, school, and in the community. our specialised services are mainly for mentally challenged children with or without physical developmental delays. Day-to-day responsibilities include conducting therapy sessions, documenting progress, collaborating with families and caregivers, and coordinating with other professionals involved in the child’s care. The role also involves early identification of developmental concerns, providing caregiver training, and contributing to program development and best practices within the centre. Qualifications Strong foundation in Occupational Therapy, with pediatric-focused training and clinical experience. Competence in Sensory Integration approaches to address sensory processing and regulation needs. Experience in Pediatrics and Early Intervention, including assessment and treatment of developmental delays. Demonstrated ability and interest in Working With Children and supporting families in diverse contexts. Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited institution; valid registration/licensure as required. Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate in an interdisciplinary team. Communication in English, Hindi, and Kannada is a must for this role. Strong documentation, planning, and time-management skills, including familiarity with digital record-keeping. Commitment to evidence-based practice, ongoing professional development, and ethical, inclusive care. Multidisciplinary working with care coordination lead by chief Psychiatrist.
